D'Arceau-Limoges Lafayette débarque de son navire Victoire by Restieau Limoges

This D'Arceau-Limoges collector plate depicts the historic moment when the Marquis de Lafayette, accompanied by Baron de Kalb, landed from the ship Victoire on June 13, 1777, at North Island, South Carolina. The detailed artwork by André Restieau captures the landing party meeting locals on the shore, surrounded by an ornate border featuring French fleurs-de-lis and nautical motifs.

Crafted from genuine Limoges porcelain in France, this Premiere Edition piece is marked Fait à la main (made by hand). The backstamp features a comprehensive historical narrative in French detailing Lafayette's 54-day secret voyage to avoid the British fleet and his arrival in the American colonies to support the revolutionary cause.

This collector plate is hand-numbered 646 and bears the official Henri D'Arceau L. & Fils hallmark with a 1973 copyright date. Included with the plate are the original black foam protective storage box and the official Final Control Form inspection document as seen in the images.
