This 1981 collector plate, titled "The Skating Lesson," is the second issue in the Csatari Grandparent Series. The artwork by Joseph Csatari depicts a heartwarming winter scene of a grandfather ice skating while a grandmother and two children look on from a bench, wrapped in a colorful patchwork quilt. The plate is crafted from fine China by Edwin M. Knowles, America's oldest name in fine China, and captures the nostalgic charm of family life.

This limited edition piece is hand-numbered 3321C and is part of a single edition limited forever to one hundred firing days. The backstamp features the official hallmark of Edwin M. Knowles, located in Newell, West Virginia, and includes the Bradex number 84-K.41-4.2. The plate is marked as the 1981 Csatari Grandparent Plate on the front.

Included with this item is the original cardboard storage box/sleeve as shown in the images. A clear acrylic display easel is also visible in the photographs and NOT included in this purchase. This collector plate is intended for decorative use only.
